Scott McLean

The man who shaped the goal

Scott was heavily involved in the community activities. He enjoyed coaching both hockey & baseball. He coached every age group from tyke to midget & from rookie to Bantam, and won a couple provincial championships with both his boys. He sat on the executive of Tillsonburg Minor Ball for several years. Scott also loved golf, which lead in to him sitting on the Board of Directors of Tillsonburg Golf and Country Club serving a term as president and overseeing the expansion to 18 holes in 2009. He was board member and chair of the Tillsonburg Parks and Rec Commission,member of The Economic Development Commission and Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. Scott was on the board of directors of the Ontario Agri Business Association. He continually gave his time and talents to the things he was passionate about to make his community a better place.

 Business Man

Scott and his father Alan Mclean purchased  the Fertilizer Equipment Division of United Cooperatives of Ontario in 1993 and established Green Lea Ag Centre Inc. in Mount Elgin, Ontario. The company quickly became  highly respected  within the fertilizer industry and a successful family business. Alan retired in 1995 and Scott became president of the company.

Scott was a loving husband to Jane Ann and a dedicated father to Duncan and Hayden. He was very involved in the boys activities and always made time for sports, vacations and school programs.
